The ABL9 analyzer wins an iF DESIGN AWARD 2018

May 14, 2018

Copenhagen, Denmark – Radiometer’s ABL9 blood gas analyzer is a winner of an iF DESIGN AWARD 2018, a world-renowned design prize. The ABL9 analyzer won in the design excellence category.

Henrik Schimmell, President and CEO of Radiometer, says, “We are very proud to receive the iF DESIGN AWARD 2018 for the ABL9 analyzer.”

He continues, “This design-focused award confirms our strategy and goals for the design of our products: to modernize them and make them more inviting to the user. The ABL9 analyzer is certainly ‘clever made simple’—it combines the clever technology that the ABL compact analyzer series is known for and a user interface that is so intuitive, it becomes plug and play.”

The R&D team worked closely with users in designing the ABL9 analyzer. They captured user input and developed an analyzer with the user in mind.

The finished product is a simple and reliable analyzer that has a comprehensive acute care test panel.
