Customer training
At Radiometer, we consider training key in ensuring users feel confident and competent when operating their instruments.
Types of training offered
Key Operator Training
Training dedicated to hospital staff supporting everyday users of our instruments. The training includes, in addition to the topics covered during Basic Operator Training, how to perform maintenance procedures, quality control and measures to be taken for troubleshooting.
Duration: 1 - 1.5 h.
Clinical Training
For those interested in learning more about specific acute care testing parameters or markers measured on a Radiometer instrument. Topics include e.g., how to avoid preanalytical errors in blood gas testing and understanding the value of various measured or derived parameters.
Duration: 1 – 2 h.
Onsite training
Training sessions are provided face-to-face at your hospital by our Clinical Application Specialists and Field Service Engineers. We try to keep the number of participants per session around five to ten. The goal is to keep participants engaged by making sure everyone has hands-on time on the instrument and can ask questions. Trainings can also be provided virtually demanding upon the request.
Certificates
Training checklists are typically provided and signed at the end of each training. Certificates for your staff can be provided by request.Continuous learning

Dr Riitu Chaandel says, “Global feedback was taken, which nobody [else] does. They took the feedback and worked on it, which actually no one does. And it’s been helpful to us! Having a course dedicated to interpret ABG, etc., will prove helpful to the healthcare system. I’m happy that Radiometer is helping us serve our patients better.”
